The Willis Family In-Law ADU In Escondido
People often tend to build ADU when they have their parents moving in with them. That’s exactly what the Willis family wanted for their in-laws. When building ADUs in such cases, you need to be sure that the movement is not restricted, the space is accessible and there is enough storage space. The ADU was considerably large in size and we used that to our advantage. We also built accessibility features into the bathroom and along the bedside. This made it an ideal space. To ensure that the place is lit correctly, we used a mix of ambient and focus lighting in different spaces. We also ensured that the ADU could be easily accessed from the Willis family home.
